Are titanium earrings suitable for sensitive ears?
Titanium is hypoallergenic and well tolerated, making it a good option for sensitive ears. Every person is different. Fastening, size and cleanliness also affect how earrings feel.
Are the backs titanium too?
Materials depend on the design. For example, our 6 mm freshwater pearl earrings specify G23 titanium for both posts and backs. Check your chosen product or ask customer service.
How is a flat back different from a traditional back?
A flat back is a smooth, flat screw-on fastening. A butterfly back has a different shape, and the post may extend beyond it. Choose a fastening that fits your ear and is easy for you to handle.
Can I wear these earrings in the shower?
Titanium resists water, but care for the complete earring also depends on decorations and coatings. Protect freshwater pearls from water, cosmetics and chemicals. Follow the product care instructions.
How is the gold colour made?
Many gold-coloured designs use an 18-karat PVD gold coating over titanium. The product page specifies the coating. Coatings can wear over time even though the titanium beneath is durable.

How do I clean the earrings?
