The curved U-shaped body makes it really easy to put on the jewellery. The jewellery is pushed into place. The thin frame remains visible in the jewellery.
Zirconia stone is a synthetic diamond, which is an inexpensive alternative and much used in piercing jewellery and other jewellery. The hard and clear material refracts light very beautifully.
The zirconia is embedded in a safe and strong copper frame, which is plated. The gold and rhodium plating resists wear well, but will of course wear off over time. The wear of the coatings is largely influenced by the use of the jewellery and the skin's own PH level.
