Labret jewellery is commonly known as lip jewellery, but in 1.2mm thickness it is also used as a piercing jewellery for ear cartilage and earlobe (helix, tragus). In this design, the stony ball comes off with an effort. The ball has a hole in it, into which the pin of the body is rolled.

Is surgical steel a good material?

Surgical steel is a popular material for jewellery because it is durable and lasts a lifetime. The steel itself does not wear in use, but the coatings on it, such as gold plating (14K or 18K) or other metallic coatings, can wear over time.
