Zirconia stone is a synthetic diamond, which is an inexpensive alternative and much used in piercing jewellery and other jewellery. The hard and clear material refracts light really beautifully.

SURGICAL GRADE MATERIAL

Surgical steel is a durable and very strong material. 316L steel, or surgical steel, is the most commonly used piercing material.

Gold plating on steel is very resistant to abrasion, but will of course wear out over time. The wear of the gold plating is largely influenced by the use of the jewellery and the skin's own PH.

Zirconia stones are embedded in a 100% copper jewellery component, which is plated. The coating on the copper part will wear off with use over time. The wear of the coating is largely influenced by the use of the jewellery.
